Shri. Biplab Roy Chowdhury, Hon’ble Minister of Fisheries, Govt. of West Bengal visited Kakdwip Research Center of ICAR-CIBA

On 6^th September, 2022 Shri. Biplab Roy Chowdhury, Hon’ble Minister of Fisheries, Govt. of West Bengal visited Kakdwip Research Center of ICAR-CIBA. Dr. Debasis De, Officer-in-Charge, KRC-CIBA briefed the research activities of the centre and its importance for the eastern region of the country. The Hon’ble minister witnessed the ongoing activities such as pond reared hilsa broodstock developed at the centre besides various resources and facilities available at the centre. Later, he interacted with scientists working at the centre and expressed his satisfaction over the research achievements of the institute in the state.
