I am working in the crustacean culture division since 2008 at ICAR-CIBA. I completed my master's in mariculture in 2006 and Ph.D. (Aquaculture) in 2013 from ICAR-CIFE. I have research and farming experience on shrimp culture, evolving techniques like periphyton and biofloc based shrimp farming, nursery rearing, and polyculture of mud crabs with finfishes. Presently, I am working as a senior scientist, and my research work focuses on seed production and larval rearing of native penaeid shrimps, shrimp hatchery management, artemia biomass production, captive broodstock development, and domestication of Indian white shrimp.
