I am posted at Kakdwip Research Centre of ICAR- Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (ICAR- CIBA). Before joining the present institute, I worked at ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin for more than 10 years. Presently, I am focusing on the disease management of finfish and shellfishes in the brackishwater aquaculture system and the role of beneficial microbes for the development of probiotics.
- Study of leaf extract of different locally available plants for control of fish and shrimp diseases.
- Study of beneficial bacteria from Sundarban mangrove ecosystem for improvement of health status of aquatic animals.
- Surveillance of brackishwater finfish and shellfish diseases in West Bengal and Odisha with special reference to Sundarban area.
