Graduation in agriculture and Post Graduate in Agricultural Economics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, joined ARS during 1991. Have varied experience in professional career starting at ICAR-CPCRI Kasaragod upto 2006; ICAR-ATARI Bangalore from 2006-2017 (11 years) and have sound experience in Frontline Extension Programmes through Technology Assessment and Refinement. During this period had binding association with Krishi Vigyan Kendras in South India and extensively travelled. Later, during 2017 joined at ICAR-CIBA Chennai and serving as Scientist-in-Charge in the Social Sciences Division of ICAR-CIBA. Research programmes are more focused on economic aspects of farming systems. Have more than 200 publications, of which 49 are in refereed journals.
