After completing the four-year Bachelor’s degree in fisheries science from Kerala University of fisheries and ocean studies in the year 2011, Masters degree in the discipline of aquaculture from CIFE, Mumbai in 2014, I joined the agricultural research service in 2016. I have been working in ICAR-CIBA since 2016. I currently work in the crustacean culture division and mainly focus on the issues in crustacean reproductive biology and development of novel technologies for shellfish farming. I have contributed to the improvisation of the seed production and farming technologies of Penaeus japonicus (Kuruma shrimp) and Penaeus indicus (Indian white shrimp). I am now working on the reproductive issues in the breeding of the closed thelycum penaeids. I also work on improving the mudcrab hatchery technology and nursery rearing. I have interest in the crustacean gamete preservation and shell fish hatchery
