After taking a master's in Agricultural Statistics in 1997 I worked as Research Associate at National Research Center for Sorghum from 1997-1999. I joined ICAR Research Complex for Goa, Goa as a Scientist(Computer Applications) in 1999 and worked till 2010. I joined ICAR-CIBA on inter-institutional transfer and continuing to date. I worked in the areas of statistical programming, statistical modeling, data mining, and Bioinformatics. Presently I am actively involved in the works related to genome assembly and comparative genomics.
