ICAR-CIBA participated in an exhibition event of the 19th International edition of ‘Mega Goa World EXPO AND Summit 2022’ jointly organized by the Chamber for impex, traditional and integrated health and Trinity group at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee AC Stadium, Panaji, Goa from 4th to 6th August 2022. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri. Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Tourism, Government of India and Shri. Pramod Sawant, Honorable Chief Minister of Goa. The finfish and shellfish farming technologies, feed samples, disease diagnostic kits, extension publications and reports of CIBA were exhibited. Shri. Pramod Sawant, Honorable Chief Minister of Goa and other dignitaries visited the CIBA stall during the event. More than 2,000 visitors including farmers, entrepreneurs, teaching faculty and students visited the stall and appreciated the exhibits. Literatures on successful technologies in brackishwater aquaculture farming were provided to the visitors. Shri. Tanveer Hussain, Scientist, NGRC-CIBA represented the institute and coordinated the exhibition. The “Best of India Biz Award” for special display and presentation was awarded to ICAR institutes as a team and a certificate was presented the institutes participated in the event viz., ICAR-CIBA, ICAR-IARI, ICAR-IGFRI & ICAR-CCARI by Shri. Nilesh Cabral, Minister of Public Works, Department of Goa.
