ICAR- Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (ICAR- CIBA) participated in the 13th Krishi Fair 2022, a National level Agricultural Exhibition organised by the Shree Shrikshetra Soochana (SSS), a non-profit NGO at Puri, Odisha, during 20-24 June, 2022. The event was inaugurated by Sri Bishweswar Tudu, Honourable Minister of the State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti, Shri.Bishweswar Tudu. The minister emphasized the importance of viable agricultural technologies in fulfilling the food and nutritional security of households. He expressed sincere thanks to all ICAR institutes for exhibiting their stall in the Krishi Fair. Sri Ranendra Pratap Swain, Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Govt. of Odisha said that Odisha is a one of the fastest growing state in agriculture & fisheries sector and scope for further development is not limited. The achievements and technologies of ICAR-CIBA were exhibited in the CIBA’s stall. More than 5000 visitors representing agriculture and allied sectors, manufacturers, dealers, traders, exporters and consultants visited the stall. Dr. Prem Kumar, Senior Scientist and Dr. Leesa P, Scientist, KRC of CIBA represented the institute and coordinated the exhibition.
