Dr. B.M.K. Reddy, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board visited ICAR-CIBA during 20-21 September, 2021. During the welcome speech Dr. K.P. Jithendran, Director, CIBA broadly narrated the mandate and activities of CIBA, and the Chairman explained the biodiversity act and activities of state biodiversity boards and interacted with HOD/Scientist In-Charges of different Divisions/Sections on biodiversity issues in fisheries during the brief interaction meeting. Chairman interacted with the scientists during his visit to the laboratory facilities at headquarters, and shrimp, crab and finfish hatcheries, and feed mill at Muttukadu Experimental Station of CIBA and pond facilities at newly developed Kovalam Experimental Station of CIBA.
