Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Rajshree Biosolutions, Coimbatore signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) for transfer of CIBASTIM technology on an exclusive basis at CIBA HQ in Chennai on 24th February 2015 at Chennai.
The technology to prepare microbial based immunostimulant ‘CIBASTIM’ which improves growth, survival and immunity in shrimps has been already commercialized to Rajshree Biosolutions on a non-exclusive basis for a period of three years. After evaluation of the product and test marketing by the firm, the firm requested for an exclusive license to the use of technology that will benefit the farmers.
Dr.K.K.Vijayan, Director, CIBA and Mr Aditya Krishna Pathy, Managing Partner, Rajshree Biosolutions signed the MoU. Dr.K.Ambasankar, Principal Scientist & In-charge, Nutrition Group, Dr.Prasanna Kumar Patil, Senior Scientist, AAHED, CIBA, Mr A.Sathiyamoorthi, President, Rajshree Biosolutions, Mr G. Sathiyamoorthi, Senior Vice President, Rajshree Biosolutions and Dr K. Sudhakaran, Head, Production and product development, Rajshree Biosolutions were also present.
